I'm visiting here and this is my 2nd visit in a row. First time just for a beer waiting for my fishing tour which is right across the street. I had the best experience with Bartender Joe, I had to come back for dinner the next day. This place is more quiet than all the bars right off the beach and cleaner as well. Highly recommend.

brought a large party, manager yelled at us after an hour. he says we gotta put everything on 1 bill, no exception, even after they asked us if we wanted splits. service was slow, subpar. avoid at all costs.

Visiting more friends from outta town. They must like us to take us out in Fort Lauderdale. Pleasant server. Food is ok. Sports bar atmosphere. Block off beach. Cool fish tank. Parking across street meters.

This place is really nice. It's across the beach so ever time I feel in a Holliday moment. I love sea food and they have a really good fish of the day. And the price is just. I just think that they can be more careful with the table garbage. Than is gonna be perfect!

Was a great place, down to earth. Waitress and food great. Had crab legs, lobster and tuna, all very good. Only negative was felt like i was sitting in the parking lot at end outdoor table. Nice rocking tables tho!

Great place for drinks and good food. The staff is very professional and friendly. Crowd is nice, lots of friendly out of owners here. The burgers are awesome.

Chill place for a quiet dinner. Outside seating was peaceful. Just off the beach so scenery was not that great, and for some reason, the corner it is on seems to be the drag racing capital of Ft Lauderdale.

I have visited Quarterdeck Restaurants frequently over the last few years, not only here in Fort Lauderdale but also in Davie and Sunrise and I used to like their food. Today was a different story ... As an appetizer I ordered conch fritters and those fritters contained very little conch, to my relieve, because the few pieces of conch that I got had the consistency of rubber, not to mention the piece of chicken wing bone on my plate. The fresh catch of the day, Mahi Mahi, which is 16.99, was a tiny dry fillet, barely a quarter of an inch thick. I ordered it blackened and it had no flavor whatsoever. It seemed to me that I got the children's portion. I have never paid that much money for such a small piece of fish!!!

Average food for an average beach bar. Looking for a place to grab a few beers and a quick dinner while in town for work. Seems like a local hang out as the bartender knew most of the patrons. A decent beer list I had the French Dip which had a lot of meat but little flavor. I don't think I would come back

Went here for dinner on vacation and the food is average with reasonable prices. Went another night for a few drinks and Joe the bartender was great! Worth a trip!

The food is great and the service was great and fast. We had the lobster and it was the best lobster I have ever had. We also had the tuna which was perfectly cooked and came with seaweed which was awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Quarterdeck has solid beer and shot prices, I enjoyed the Bud Light deals that they had? I also had a burger which wasn't too bad, kinda a normal sports bar, maybe need to give it another chance.

I usually visit with my family and when there is a UFC fight and the food and service is always great and consistent. They have a nice beer selection and the menu is diverse and the giant fish tank keeps my little one entertained. On a UFC fight night they have a large inflatable big screen that they setup in the parking lot and its great to watch with friends, appetizers and some beers. For a nice quick bite with an after dinner beach walk this place is great.

Found this restaurant when I was on vacation in FL and it was so good that I ate here 3 times while in that part of town. If you come here on a Tuesday or Thursday they have Maine lobster for $14.99. Prime rib, chicken wings and coconut shrimp was also very good. Service was great each time and prices were right.. I would come back here again if ever back in Fort Lauderdale..

There were roaches crawling out of the wall The waitress seemed stoned or high All the food tasted horrible I had a simple salad and had stomach issues, my poor husband had the philly cheese steak and was in the bathroom all night I LOVE little hole-in-the-wall places that are casual and easy going, but this place was disgusting! Their ladies room smelled like raw sewage, and when we pointed out the roaches, the manager replied with 'it happens.' He said he'd take 50% off our bill and only took $9 off. We were so desperate to get out of there we didn't even care. I'll NEVER eat here again!

This location kind of sucks but since it's quarterdeck, that makes it A-ok in my book. I love the menu and the food is fantastic. Great place to stop by while you are on the beach.

This is the second sitting at the Quarter Deck during our week long vacation. The first, on 5/11, did not turn out very well. It was not the food but the service, or lack there of. My wife contacted the management the next day and we were asked to return for them to try again. I usually do not but the food was very good so I agreed to. The food again was excellent! The Mahi fingers were cook perfect. The lobster bisque was good.I ordered the special, Maine lobster, with Mac-n-cheese and broccoli cooked in wine and garlic. All was very good. As I said before it was the service not the food that caused a bad experience. Tonight service was perfect, yes I do know they were trying to impress and make amends for a bad experience..... and they did it! Diane the general manager, Derek the manager and especially Bo did an outstanding job and I do recommend the Quarter Deck to anyone coming to Ft. Lauderdale Beach for a visit.

Quarterdeck is far from your average seafood bar and grill.. It is a Neighborhood treasure .. I had a great experience on Saturday night they were showing the UFC fight .. The atmosphere was great they had a huge screen set up displaying the fight and beers and drinks were served to perfection . Our server Shayli was friendly ,personable n very knowledgeable.. She recommended the grouper which kudos to the chef was cooked to perfection .. We even met the manager Ben who had brought it to our table who welcomed us to his restaurant... Overall I definitely recommend this place and it is on our list for the weekends( drinks ) to come ... Great job

Absolutely horrible service. The waiter came to our table ONCE to take our drink order and meal order then never seen him again. Had to flag down several others to fix our problems. Ordered a regular cheeseburger it came out the first time with bacon. This wouldn't have been a problem if I actually liked bacon. So I sent it back. It came back tasting absolutely disgusting. The worst burger I've had in my life. I ate my side dish and that was it. And of course, my side dish was cold. Won't ever be back. Don't waste your money here.

  • Teresa S.

Great location, but horrible food. We ordered a full rack of baby back ribs. They were not good at all! The barbecue sauce was not even close to a good "BBQ" sauce from the grocery store. The meat was not cooked well and if you're expecting them to fall of the bone, think again. You'll be there battling with a fork and hard meat and pray that you don't have to call your dentist the next day. And wait, whatever happened to our artichoke dip. Yeah, the waiter forgot to put in our order. Thank goodness. That may have been another entree we wouldn't have been able to stomach.

This is a great dive in Fort Lauderdale. The outdoor booths are gliders so you can rock while you eat. We try to come here when in town yearly. Great service and friendly. Had the calamari as an appetizer. The philly steak is great. Husband had chicken. Local feel and food is good and reasonably priced. Give it a try if you like to find some local places nearby the beach.

Excellent much better than rated. Like eating in a New England lobster shack. Could eat this every week.

  • Vivien H.

Your average bar with bar food. Service was friendly but slow. Food was mediocre, nothing to complain about but nothing special. Our group had fish tacos, Caesar salad with chicken, buffalo chicken burger and double turkey burger. The salad was as you would expect but the dressing wasn't very distinct. Fish tacos were meh but you do get 3. Their tater tots and Mac & cheese are your standard bar good quality. But they do have their own parking lot so you don't have to pay for parking.

  • Ben L.

This place was good, and represented a good value compared to the overpriced restaurants in the area. Everything is pretty good

    (4)
  • Kevin M.

This place is OK. The wings are actually really good and they have good brews on tap. I ordered the fajitas which practically smoked away all the guests at our table which was mildly embarrassing. They were overly salty but not bad by any means. Folks also smoke outside so be forewarned if you sit outside.

  • Shabba R.

Parking, like everywhere else on FLL beach, is horrible. They have perhaps five spaces and one handicap spot. The bartenders use measured pours, so don't go here expecting to find a good deal on drinks, or an expensive strong drink. I asked for my drink to be topped off after tasting it and was refused. Probably best to stick with well drinks since you're not going to get any value out of the higher end stuff. The food is okay. Tried the calamari with a side of wing sauce, it was fried too long, or perhaps the squid was just too small to begin with, either way it was eating mostly breading. The ahi tuna salad is also okay, the tuna tasted great and was fresh, but it was drenched in the salad dressing which hurt its rating. Chicken salad was also reasonable, just nothing to write home about.

Came in for a quick bite for a late lunch/snack. First impression was that we had to grab our own menus and ask to sit. Ordered the clam chowder which was decent. Also the loaded nachos which were just okay. The cheese wasn't even really melted. They had an okay taste. Probably wouldn't get them again. Heard the wings were great but didn't try them. The manager came through the Restuarant and asked our table and others how everything was. Our waitress was sweet. That is all.

I went on a fishing charter across the street and caught a bunch of fish. The captain of the boat told me I could take my catch to this restaurant and they would cook it up. I caught mackerel and the waitress gave us an option of having it several ways. We had one order blackened and one order fried and shared. My father-in-law and I split it and my wife and mother-in-law ordered off the menu. The cost to prepare the fish was reasonable and it came with a choice of any side-dish. The food was so good. Side dishes, drinks, everything was good and fun. Our waitress was very nice and competent. The pricing , food quality , and service was all good. I would definitely come back.

I always have a good time at Quarterdeck. This location with the Ocean view and by Las Olas makes for some good people watching coming back from Elbow Room or Exit 66 or the beach, there are some colorful people. I asked the waitress for an outdoor table, I wanted to go on a rocking booth, and she told me its seat yourself. There was seating inside available but I wanted the nice fresh Ocean air. My Man ordered a couple Corona Light's to wait for the table, meanwhile I was asking the servers whats good and what I should order .. if there were any drink specials, they weren't that helpful they seemed aloof. M-F Happy Hour 3-7PM and 9PM till Close..(2-4-1 Wine, Liquor, Beer Bottles, Draft) Finally got the table and I was happy and hungry. The waitress came by right away we ordered waters and appetizers, both the Calamari and the Smoked fish Dip. The food came out pretty quickly and the Calamari was really good they also fry the Pepperoncini peppers which is different and toss it all in Wing sauce (I got mine on the side ). The Fish dip came with colored tortilla chips .. Ive had better. We ordered the Cheeseburger it came with fries and the Philly Cheese steak I got the beef one with Fries. The Cheeseburger was okay I thought it seemed like the frozen kind and had a char taste to it, can't compare to the best Ive had . The Philly Sandwich came on a really soft hoagie and the meat was sliced thin and good there were onions and the cheese was white American very melted cheese kinda Kraft-Cheese like I wasn't too thrilled with this. Good thing I had another Corona Light! The location is def worth coming here for a relaxing chill time, and my waitress was great and the food came out pretty fast. Its Quarterdeck .. Ill be back ;)

I tried one of the specials that my waitress offered, and it was excellent. I expected the laid back, comfortable environment and that is exactly what I experienced. The staff was very attentive and I enjoyed my stay. The manager - Ben - even checked if everything was going well. I had the perfect Sunday-Fun-Day on the beach.

Terrible bartender. Very unwelcoming. The group I was with ended up leaving due to her making my us feel uncomfortable. Other staff seemed great

Came for a casual lunch on a Sunday, for some light bites and relaxation near the beach. Sat outside (no real views) but better than indoors; enjoyed the shade and the breeze. Service was friendly and she made us feel right at home. We ordered raw oysters, buffalo shrimp, and steamers - along with a cool "choose your own" 3-beer sampler. Beers were super tasty, but needed to be a tad bit colder. Oysters appeared to be high quality and were fresh tasting - a good, flavorful dozen. Steamed clams in a light garlic broth were terrific; flavorful broth and perfectly plump little clams. Buffalo shrimp were absolutely delicious -- ask for some celery and carrots to dip into the blue cheese! Overall, this was much better than I expected, and we will certainly be back soon.

  • Mike Gope G.

Thus place is average at best. Over priced average beach food. Obviously the people that give them more than 1 star do not go out to eat much. Bar service bartender was a scatter brain staff was more focused about bitching about the place than serving customers I will never be be or recommend this place.

  • Phay L.

Our waitress marissa told us it is gonna be 'more work' for her to get us a modified bill. This is your job, your work! Work is work! Doesn't take long to resubmit a ticket bill

  • Coral K.

I come here on a semi regular basis. The food is petty decent, the service is really hit or miss, sometimes it's great, other times it's terrible, and I usually make sure to go during off times when there is no dinner or lunch rush, so there is no reason for terrible service when there are hardly any other people in the establishment. The drinks are nice and big and strong, prices are fair. I'll always return!

I would like to thank the manager Joel for granting me and my friend with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My friend was very excited to watch the main event mma fight and with 4 other patrons in the bar, Joel constantly refused to raise the volume so we could enjoy the fight. He was rude and I found it very funny he was adamant about betting 50 dollars on the fight but couldn't satisfy the one request we had which was to some what hear the fight.

    (1)
  • Greg W.

French fries were good, but my turkey burger was raw in the middle. You don't want to bite into that. Not blown away by the service. They didn't seem very worried that my burger was raw. Still charged me full price. Whatever, the beer was cold.

  • Jon V.

Went here twice for the lobster and was not disappointed. $18.95 for a whole Maine lobster that was 1.25 lbs the first time & 1.5 lbs the second. Tuesday & Thursday it is only $13.95 until they run out so go early. Their beer is icy cold and the conch soup and stone crab soups were also very good. Service was a little slow and it wasn't that busy but I was in no hurry. Waitress came by several times to ask if I needed anything. All in all it was a spiritual experience and the perfectly cooked lobster needed no butter or lemon. Free parking right in their lot next to the tables for their customers as I was told several times that it was "only for customers". Guess the guy thought I was not eating there as I was coming from the restroom after washing all the lobster juice from my hands.

Prime rib sandwich was over spiced tasted like salt French onion soup was awesome, could have just had the soup and been fine .

Had a great experience. Just lunch, but Irvin took care of us - fast service and very good food. Salad, tuna , burger. Ate outside - never went in - so not sure what is like.

  • Kara B.

We ate here with a group of six. The atmosphere is that of a sports bar and if you are looking to eat on the swinging tables this is a great place. Service was great and the food even better. Who can beat prime rib for $14 ! And we couldn't finish the whole thing. You definitely get your money's worth here!

  • Trish K.

Was here for the Pats game--convenient to the Courtyard Marriott--ended up eating here 3 times---good basic food--good prices--good choices--friendly atmosphere--good place to get out of the heat. Convenient to the beach--if in Ft Lauderdale again definitely come back--

  • Bruce L.

A nautical name like The Quarterdeck you would think "great seafood here!" Occupancy was about 2/3 full and it looked like a good place to watch some football and get some good food after a travel day. Tilapia fish and chips sounded like a good selection from their very diversified menu of burgers, ribs and seafood. Service was less than desirable, had to ask for silverware and ask for dessert that was included with the meal for some. Some got whipped cream on their pie, some didn't and it was the same pie. My fish and chips were not so good. The fries had the taste of being under-the-heat-lamp-for-too-long taste. The fish didn't have much flavor. Don't think I would come back, too many other options

    (2)
  • Chris L.

Came here because I wanted a reasonably-quick sit-down meal and I was in the area. Got exactly what I was looking for. The service was a slight bit slow (looked understaffed) but very friendly. Had a nice outdoor seat on a pleasant night. I ordered the steak & shrimp combo with a beer. The beer was cold (points!) and the steak, while not the best cut of meat, was cooked exactly right. The shrimp were tasty enough, as was the mac and cheese. If you come here expecting more than what the place portends to be, you'll be disappointed. But if you come here for a good hot meal and a cold beer, you won't be disappointed at all.

    (3)
  • Patrick O.

Went there for their Prime rib special. The food was just ok and the service was TERRIBLE. Irvin acted as if he was not happy to have a job and took it out on us. I wont go back there again.

  • Leah C.

Great 2-4-1 happy hour specials. Nice spot walking distance from the beach. Chain bar food menu with many options. Outdoor and indoor dining. Love the french onion soup here, I don't care how hot it is outside I get it here all the time.

We ate here not long ago and although this place came highly recommended by a friend of my wife, we were disappointed. I had the burger because I wasn't feeling seafood that night, and I am glad I did-it wasn't bad.. My wife had the shrimp scampi and could not even finish it. And that is saying something because my wife is a shrimp fanatic. But that is not what got the low rating. The service was poor. Maybe it was a bad night for them, I don't know....but it took us standing at the entrance for 5 minutes before someone seated us...and it wasn't even busy. And the waitress seemed somewhat apathetic and admitted she had not tried much on the menu when we asked her what the restaurants signature dishes were. But seeing the other reviews, with most being three stars, I am hoping this was just a hiccup.

    (2)
  • Steve T.

Steak was tender. Lobster was good (dark black instead of red at top of tail was...odd. ) steamers were good except for those with ice on them.

    (3)
  • Mandy L.

This place holds a special place in my heart. It may not be a 5 star restaurant, but my BF and I have a non-official tradition of stopping here every time that we head to Las Olas. It all started with our Memorial Day weekend getaway 2 years ago. We love to sit outside in the "rocking- chair" booths... They are just like the ones at Mr. Moe's. The food is always good, even better after a day of drinking at the beach! :) The service is always quick & pleasant. No complaints here. This is bar food at its best!

    (5)
  • Ana B.

Loooove the food here, typical American but very tasty Buffalo wings is a must have, really good with a cold blue moon! The shrimp fajita is very tasteful and the service is good at the bar, never got a table though.. Already came back several times and brought some friends too.. they liked as well.

EHhhH..This place is usually just meh! Nice oyster shooters and raw bar food. Everything else is merely MEH!!!

  • Kim C.

We enjoyed our visit to Quarterdeck. Two things brought this rating to a "4". Our server, Joel, was super attentive and friendly. And the location is great; just a 1/2 block to the ocean. They didn't have our favorite gin, but the drinks were competitively priced. I had the oysters, which were shucked right next to me, fresh. Several oysters were discarded as too small, which I appreciated.

  • JoVonn G.

I wanted conch fritters and there were none. I was really surprised and disappointed. I decided on the shrimp burrito which was ok. I sat at the bar to eat since it was just me and service was slow and the place was not that crowded (it was a Wednesday afternoon).

    (2)
  • Scott M.

If you like chewy, rubbery, unseasoned calamari, you have two options. Stick your head in the ocean and start chewing on some calamari.... OR.... come to Quarterdeck and order the fried calamari. I also ordered the 32 oz variety Rum drink, and my wife had the Ruby Red Mojito. They both tasted like nothing. No sweetness or distinctiveness of any kind. Very disappointed. We had planned to order a meal, but decided to just pay the check and bail. The server didn't look like he wanted to be there anyway.

    (1)
  • Steve M.

This place is abysmal. Our server was friendly, and that was about the most redeeming bit about the whole shebang. I hopped around 3 different tables, trying to find one that was comfortable while waiting for my group of 5 to show up from shopping the trashy surf shops. (There are some AMAZING shirts in those shops..) The conch fritters tasted like wet, soggy cornmeal sponges. The happy hour "drink specials" were all mixer no fixer, and we spotted 4 Ed Hardy/Affliction t-shirts in there, bringing the week-long count up to 8 at the time. (I write this on my last day here, and I'm now at 16 thanks to South Beach.) Maybe it was an off night. Maybe everyone was short one cheeseburger in paradise. Maybe we never should've gone to the Quarterdeck.

    (1)
  • Taylor S.

Great atmosphere and solid food. Can't go wrong for a meal. Prices are decent for the area but high compared to a mile or two away. I ate here for a bachelor party group one day and no one had any complaints about the staff or the food.

    (3)
  • Ricardo R.

I was extremely impressed with this place. I thought it would ordinary bar food and beer. Yet, we ordered 3 appetizers. The breaded shrimp, crab & spinach dip, and chicken fingers. I must say, one of the best bar foods I've had in a long time. Plus healthy portion to go with it. We had a young kid as a waiter. I was like great, this waiter is going to suck. Totally the opposite, the waiter was great. Constantly coming around to make sure we were ok, and mind you.....we sat outside. I was really impressed at the service, food quality, and ambiance of this place. I will be going back to this place again.

    (4)
  • Cynthia E.

We just loved this place. Everything we tried was delightful, and priced really well. It is perfectly situated on Las Olas--don't pass over this in favor of flashier spots on the beach.

  • Kay T.

QUarterdeck is a chain of dive restaurants. Dingy yes it is so what. The service and food are always good. No Restaurant nightmares here because they have a constant influx of people. It looks better at nite! Plus =: fried Calamari is pretty good and a heathy sized serving. On a sunday a full rack of ribs for $10. watch out now. Fish and Chips yum even though it is tilapia and not cod. Negative: they are making enough money to at least clean the place. looking at this place sober and during the daytime takes on a new meaning. It does not have to be a dive, they can tidy it up.

    It's ok - nothing special.

Thought this place was going to be great. Service was poor. They ran out of bottle and draft of Coors Light. Can't say anything about the food, because we were not asked if we wanted food for 25 minutes.

    (1)
  • Shenika T.

The food is not so great, but after a few drinks everything tastes good. But our waitress was awesome! She was funny and stopped by our table often to check on us. The game was on so it was rather loud and crowded. But cool spot nonetheless

    (3)
  • Monika K.

No thanks I'll pass, no beer specials, horrendous burger. A for location but that's about it. limited menu. no wings. was not impressed

    (2)
  • Gina S.

If you're looking for service, turn around. The hostesses, whose job it is to keep track of a waiting list, empty tables, and make magic happen between the two- are useless. The servers are a touch more intelligent, but don't get your hopes up. The food takes forever to come out. The location is good. The food is edible. Skip the burger, get the ribs. Try mixing the tater tots and mac and cheese for an orgasmic (and artery clogging) treat. I'm pretty sure I would like the concoction even if I wasn't drinking for 3 hours prior to eating it. We only go here when we have a very generous coupon, because paying full price and getting lame service is not how we roll.

    (3)
  • Marcus D.

It's touristy, but hey, that's me, right? We came in here to watch some football, drink beers and eat burgers, which we accomplished without any serious mishaps. The greatest was the people watching, especially the character with the huge grey lion mane of a mullet - now THAT was a serious hairdo. He probably owns one of the mansions in Las Olas on a canal.

    (3)
  • Tara S.

Touristy, good for lunch. Sit outside and order blackened mahi tacos and Long Island Teas or a Mojito. Fun spot. Service is usually very quick.

  • Harvey D.

I usually go to the one in Davie; however, I was at the beach and was really hungry so a couple of friends and I decided to go to this location. This one was not nearly as good as the one in Davie for many reasons. First of all, they don't have the same menu as other Quarterdecks which is kind of odd. Second of all, after our server brought us our drinks and we told him we needed a couple of minutes to look over the menu, he actually took a smoke break literally in plain sight. If you are going to take a smoke break, at least have the courtesy to do it behind the restaurant so the customers can't see you. We shared the buffalo wings and I ordered a burger which and both were not as good as I've had at the Davie location. Our waiter then proceeds to disappear for the entire meal and he reappears after our dirty plates have been sitting in front of us for like 10-15 minutes. Seeing as how we were dressed in beach attire, why not use some common sense and realize that we wanted to get back to the beach? We paid by credit card which he (again) took a very long time to process. Based on the fact that the waiter was horrible and the food was below average, I wouldn't go back to this location. I'm going to stick with the one in Davie!

Perfect place to sit outside, but wish to not be right on the beach. The large swinging chairs are pretty fun, although you have to sit at the edge of your chair, since there is so much room between the chairs and table. The food is fine, atmosphere is fun, and the location is incredibly convenient if you are staying in that part of town.

Definitely one of the best places to go for a bite on the beach. Menu is reasonably priced, and the location is prime. I agree with the other reviewers, try to try everything on the menu- I have yet to order something that is not delicious! I have had the sashimi several times and its great!

Loved the food and service. The table and chairs outside were a little uncomfortable. We both had burgers and they were perfectly cooked. Would recommend it.

Bad food! I tried their special burger and returned because it was awful. Asked for a cheeseburger then and it wasnt much better. My wife had chicken francais which was awful as well. It was drowning in cheap cheese. First bad restaurant experience in the US ever for us.

My wife and I ate lunch here this afternoon. The service was friendly and the food was good. We had fish tacos (tilapia) and philly cheese steak. The steak sub was great with mushrooms, onions, and a nice gooey cheese. The fish tacos were okay, the fish was kind of dry, but the rice/beans/salsa mix was tasty. They service giant sodas (Pepsi products) and have both indoor and outdoor seating. This place is about a block off the beach, so the people watching is so-so, and there is absolutely no parking, so if you're driving in just to go here, you'll have to find a lot down the street or park at the beach and walk up. I wouldn't drive down to the beach to go here and if I was already at the beach, this probably wouldn't be my first choice for lunch. But it was fine.

I read no reviews before eating here but I have to say I was surprised at how much nothing really sucked. They had a NY Strip special for 9.99 which came with a side and seemed to be a pretty good deal. My friend said it was good, it was huge, and he ate most of it. I was looking for something not fried or starchy and settled upon the blackened mahi-mahi. This was really tasty, not greasy, and it even came with a substituted side of steamed broccoli instead of the starches. I also added a nice little side salad for $2.25, although I think the blue cheese wedge as a side would be a better choice (it was really big and tasty - I sampled my friend's). I did partake of the $4 double drinks of various Smirnoff vodkas and despite having the drink with my dinner, I felt a little tipsy. In fact, I'm heading back for the same special in a few minutes because it's also offered from 9 PM until close. Our server was very good but I will say that the hostess stand was a bit disorganized and a little surly.

2-4-1 happy hour drink specials. We ordered the buffalo shrimp ask for it to be HOT. I didn't think it was very spicy, but the generous portion we received made up for it. For about $10 we had about 2 dozen shrimp. Not a bad happy hour snack!

Another beachside restaurant- it doesn't blow I love boneless chicken wings and I think they are pretty great here!! The only thing I hate and can't stand at this place is the waitstaff - they all suck they never come back ask you if you need anything just leave you and yes every time I come here I have to hunt down the waiter or waitress to get the bill soo annoying but the chicken wings make up for the aggravation!!

Good mahi sandwich, good crab dip and very good service. The atmosphere is pretty bad, but being that there is not much to choose from outside the resorts in that area this isn't a bad place to grab a quick sandwich and beer.

Had the BBQ ribs and mac and cheese ... omg SO GOOD !!! watched the whole game in front of the t.v.'s they set up out side. and my team won!! it was a great night with great food and great service. I came back a couple of days later and had yummy salad.

I really liked this place- I can't remember definitively the quality f the food- just that the place was open late and the food hit the spot.

The food was decent, not great. Same with drinks. I will say the wings were tasty, I stole a couple from my tablemate.

We were pleasantly surprised at our meal here as it's a sports bar and I wasn't expecting much but we were getting hungry and the other restaurant we chose had a 45 min wait! Jr had the mac and cheese. It was really good. Hubby had the mahi mahi sandwich which was really good and not overly cooked. I had the shrimp salad which was huge and good. Very casual with decent food for the price. Worth going to again if I am in Fort. Lauderdale on holidays

We had a blast with some friends and we loved the dollar 50 pool table games. The draft beer was excellent along with the amazing burgers. There was a nice crowed of people ranging from their late 20's to 60's. I was viewing the pictures the bar had posted up of the clients throughout the years and I have to say that, they seriously had their share of regulars since I could almost pin point all the people on the picture and match them with the ones whom were sitting at the bar. This place is really good.

There's seating inside at booths, tables and the bar, but also seating outside on picnic tables with glider benches which are really cool! The burgers were great! My brother took one bite and declared that we would definitely have to return. We loved the blackening seasoning as well. The Mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! It was creamy and cheesy and pure comfort food. Our waitress, Catie, did an excellent job! There were tons of tv's inside, as it is a sports bar. Overall this place was great and we'll return!

Usually my last spot to hang out and grab a bite and a drink before heading off to FLL. Good place to sit outside. If you have average expectations you won't be disappointed. They usually have some beer or 2-4-1 special so ask. There's a usual rotation of regulars here which make it amusing to people watch - especially when someone parks in the handicap spot... you might think they are about to blast their car through the bar area. Decent place to watch football on Sundays to mingle with a various collection of NFL fans.

The beer was about the only good thing at this place...But our server was great at least. I had ribs and they tasted like leather and the meat was hard to get off the bone.

The only (and I mean ONLY) reason this place deserves even 1 star is because of their prices. The service was absolutely awful. I had the same experience as the other reviewer - the waitress could have at least pretended she liked her job. I, too, waited 20 minutes per drink and was also told after waiting that they were out of my wine. Each time I ordered a drink, I had to find someone else to get it for me because I waited so long. The food was OKAY, but not good enough to overcome the horrendous service. Prices reasonable so if you go at least you won't be out a fortune. That's the nicest thing I can say about this joint.

Fish tacos, mahi mahi, baby back ribs were great. Finished off with key lime cheesecake. Little loud inside but great outside.

2 star only because the hostess was nice. Saw our waitress only 3x during the whole meal. Ordered the beer special but apparently the bar was out of it but we weren't told until 20 minutes AFTER we ordered (that's a long wait for just drinks!). I ordered tator tots and got french fries, asked for replacement and never got it. Service stunk but food was good. Only the hostess was friendly and social. Server seemed like she didn't want to be there. You have to at least pretend you like your job if you work in this industry.

Awful food. A cut below Applebee's. Fun bar, though. Go to drink, not eat. Or drink a lot first before you eat. The much maligned service was actually just fine.

Good beach fare, fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices, portions. Blackened grouper sandwich was great. Service was good on a busy afternoon.

Here goes... New Years Eve... went to grab something while a friend was playing at the Elbo Room... (I'll get to that in another review) I had the spinach and goat cheese salad... he had the pecan crusted chix salad... Service was HORRIBLE and IT WAS DEAD in there... his salad was pretty good size, but the pecan crust on the chix was burnt... He ate it anyhow, but I would have sent that back... Mine was at best okay... I ate half... the goat cheese blobs, not good at all... not done, and still hard on the inside, the spinach wasn't triple washed, and it arrived with no dressing on the side... the iced tea was old... how can that be? Duh! Change the tea once in a blue moon... and of course, sugars were hard from the salt... leaving that aside, bill was someone else's we should have apid and split, but the service again... horrible... in fact it was an effort for the waitress to get from the table next to us, when I asked for dressing... Do yourself a favor here, go someplace else. I guess you get what you pay for... it was cheap... 30.00 for two of us... but I would have rather done a Subway wrap..it was that bad.

The blackened grouper was delicous. Their specials always seem to be a pretty good deal, such as a full rack of ribs for $9.99. The outdoor seating area is nice and I like the "rocking chair" seats, although they were kind of uncomfortable because the seats are sort of far from the table.

Food was great, drinks were a-ok, service was fantastic! We were told it would 20 - 25 minutes before the next table was available, but were seated within 10 minutes. Ordered drinks right off the bat - menu suggested some brand of vodka I've never heard of, server immediately told us to order anything but . . . probably a good idea, since everyone who ordered it made faces. Drink prices are pretty good - probably the best along the beach, aside from happy hour at a few establishments. Skipped appetizers and went right for the entrees. Dolphin Reuben and a Tuna Steak. The Dolphin Reuben was amazing - just a small fillet of mahi-mahi, but it was expertly cooked. The mac and cheese was pure comfort food. The tuna was perfect - very rare, with a bit of lemon and a wasabi-ginger cream on the side. I ordered it with a sweet potato, which was also perfect and paired with a generous amount of brown sugar. Our server was very attentive and helpful - almost candid - in her suggestions. She admitted what was good, what was bad, and what she didn't like by personal preference. This was some of the best food we've had along the beach in Fort Lauderdale!
